PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.

Vision

We are a network of Migrants and Irish individuals promoting belonging and community in the Midwest of Ireland by sharing migration experiences, cultures, histories, skills, and knowledge.

Aim

To inspire unity of diverse communities, through collaboration, and community engagement and contributing to and championing of social cohesion and integration initiatives.

Objectives

To promote through partnership with individuals, families, groups and agencies, equal access, participation, and attainment through:

Education and training initiatives

  • Mary Immaculate College and University of Limerick

Tutorial support

  • for disadvantaged and marginalised students – Junior and Leaving  Certificate in partnership with Mary Immaculate College, and Premier Tuition Centre, Castletroy

Employment research

  • that focuses on the career opportunities and job-seeking experiences of migrants to inform policy makers and employers.

Community activities

  • that constitute intercultural awareness programmes, arts projects, anti-racism workshops, cultural projects and social activities that promote well-being and engagement of all local communities.

Health and well-being

  • including mental health campaigns directed at Migrant and local communities.
