A group like this is necessary because it is a network of highly skilled migrant professionals with like-minds who came together and developed a network that would provide the much needed support and services for individuals of migrant background, which once established, would act as a link between settled migrants and the new ones, for example if a migrant is new to the county, he or she can be referred to the group's network for assistance in various needs and also a centre where they can visit and feel at home.
